She enjoys researching and writing about the best products for DIYers to use in home improvement projects and has carried out many DIY projects herself around her home, including painting, installing flooring, hanging wallpaper, furniture makeovers, and extensive landscaping.

When she’s not writing or editing commerce articles for The Spruce, Michelle is usually either spending time in her garden, planning a trip to a national park, or aboard an Amtrak train. She lives in Santa Clarita, California, with her husband and two cats.
